Through the online booking, we offer you the opportunity to book appointments with The Kinesiology Collection GmbH. The online booking service is operated by HealthAdvisor Group AG and its sister company, GIMA Services AG, both domiciled in Switzerland (collectively “HealthAdvisor”). This is also the reason why, when accessing the online booking directly or indirectly (in an integrated area on The Kinesiology Collection GmbH’s website), you may be collecting data on app.healthadvisor.ch. The Kinesiology Collection GmbH remains responsible for your personal data.
We have entered into a service agreement with HealthAdvisor, whereby we contract HealthAdvisor to protect clients’ personal data, not to disclose it to unauthorized third parties, not to use it for our own purposes, and to store your data exclusively on servers in Switzerland.
If you book an appointment via “Reserve with Google” (e.g., through Google Maps or Google Search), your personal data (e.g., name, phone number, email address, appointment request) is collected by Google (see section 3) and transmitted to us for processing your booking. Processing is carried out to prepare and conduct the scheduled appointment.
Google processes the data under its own responsibility. We receive the data through an API for appointment management. You can prevent Google from processing your personal data by booking your appointment directly with us. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use for “Reserve with Google” for information about data processing by Google.
2.1. Server-Logfiles
When you access the online booking, data is automatically sent from your device’s browser to HealthAdvisor’s server. This data is temporarily stored in server log files. Access data include, in particular, the IP address, name and version of the browser, the operating system, the amount of data transmitted, and the name of your internet service provider. Except for data you enter yourself (for example during an online appointment booking), these are information that cannot be used to identify you personally.
Processing of these data serves to enable the use of the online booking (establishing a connection), to ensure system security and stability, to optimize HealthAdvisor’s offerings, and for internal statistical purposes. Personal data is not disclosed to third parties for these purposes, and no personal user profile is created.
2.2 Cookies and Browser Storage
Using the online booking, cookies are stored on your device. These are small text files to make websites more user-friendly and efficient and to facilitate the use of the online booking. Cookies can neither harm your device nor run programs or contain viruses.
Most HealthAdvisor cookies are session cookies, which are deleted when you log out or close the browser. Other cookies remain on your device beyond the current session and allow us or our partners (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on return visits. Any cookies that are used for analytics or other purposes are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Additionally, data such as language preference, name, first name, phone number, and email address are stored in your browser to avoid re-entering this information on subsequent bookings. You can configure your browser to alert you about cookie settings and allow you to accept cookies only case-by-case or to reject them entirely. You can also delete data stored in your browser at any time.
2.3 Online Booking Data
To use the online booking, you must provide certain personal data such as name and possibly other information like email address, mobile number, address, date of birth, and health insurance. You may also use the “Notes” field.
The information you provide is processed for appointment scheduling and execution. Mandatory fields are required to arrange an appointment. Optional data helps us process your request more efficiently and provide you with more precise information.
You may object to this data processing at any time. Please send your objection to the email address listed in section 1.
2.4 SumUp
If we offer the possibility to pay for services directly through the online booking or on-site at the appointment with your debit or credit card, we use SumUp. SumUp Payments Limited, based in the United Kingdom, is the payment service provider (“SumUp”).
If you choose to pay by card on-site, the payment is processed directly via a SumUp card terminal. SumUp processes the payment data necessary for the transaction, including card details, and, where technically transmitted, the name on the card. We only receive confirmation or denial of payment; we do not have access to your card information.
If you choose to pay by card online, the technical payment processing is performed by our processor HealthAdvisor. HealthAdvisor transmits certain transaction data such as your name, payment amount, and card details (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) to SumUp for processing. SumUp processes these data independently to complete the payment. Full card data is handled and stored exclusively by SumUp. We and HealthAdvisor only receive a payment confirmation or denial.

When using the online booking, various Google services are used, with Google LLC (USA) or, if you reside in the EEA or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) as the data controller. For processing of personal data in connection with Google Maps, Google LLC is always responsible. We use the following Google services on our sites:
• Google Analytics
• Google Maps
• Google reCAPTCHA

Google uses technologies such as cookies, browser local storage, and tracking pixels to analyze how you use the online booking. The information generated by these technologies about your use of the online booking may be transmitted to Google servers in the USA or in other countries and stored there. You can find information about Google’s data center locations here.
We use Google-provided tools that, according to Google, may process personal data in countries where Google or its subcontractors operate. Google commits to an appropriate level of data protection by relying on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum for Products where Google is a Data Processor.
Additionally, Google is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

3.1. Google Analytics
For the purposes of analyzing our online booking system and its users, as well as for marketing and advertising purposes, we use the web analytics service Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) and enable analysis of your use of our online booking service. This allows us to evaluate user behavior on our online booking service and, from the resulting statistics/reports, to make our offering more engaging.
We may use Google Signals. This collects additional information about users who have enabled personalized ads (interests and demographic data) in Google Analytics, and ads can be delivered to these users in cross-device remarketing campaigns.
With Google Analytics 4, IP address anonymization is enabled by default. This shortens your IP address within Switzerland or the EU/EEA before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server and then shortened there.
Google uses this information to analyze your pseudonymous use of our online booking service, to compile reports on booking activities, and to provide us with other services related to the use of the online booking and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser during Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. When using our online booking, your user behavior is recorded as events (e.g., page views, interactions, or your click path) and other data such as your approximate location (country and city), technical information about your browser and devices, or the referrer URL.
You can prevent the collection and transmission of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of our online booking service (including your IP address) to Google, as well as Google's processing of this data, by downloading and installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you wish to opt out of personalized advertising by Google, you can use the settings and opt-out options provided by Google.

3.2. Google Maps
To embed interactive maps in our online booking, we use the Google Maps service. When a page containing Google Maps is loaded, Google Maps will set a cookie. This cookie is typically not deleted when you close the browser; it generally expires after a certain period unless you delete it manually beforehand.
By using Google Maps, information about your use of our online booking service (including your IP address) may be transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. Google may retain these data as usage profiles for purposes such as service optimization, advertising, and market research. If you are signed into Google, your data may be directly associated with your Google account. If you do not wish this, you should log out of Google first.
If you disagree with this processing of your information, you have the option to deactivate the Google Maps service. This requires disabling the JavaScript function in your browser; however, doing so may also affect other features of our online booking.

3.3. Google reCAPTCHA
The reCAPTCHA feature helps us determine whether an entry (for example, in the online booking) is being performed by a human or automatically by a computer program (bots). This protects the security of the online booking and helps guard against automated submissions and spam.
To distinguish humans from bots, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the online booking user using various indicators. These analyses run entirely in the background and start automatically as soon as you access the online booking. To differentiate between humans and bots, Google analyzes information such as the IP address of your device, time spent on the online booking, the browser and operating system you are using, and user interactions such as mouse movements and keystrokes.

HealthAdvisor has put in place appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data it processes, in particular against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. This includes, for example, the use of recognized encryption methods (e.g., SSL/TLS encryption).
The security measures are continually improved in line with technological developments. The measures taken are intended to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data, as well as the availability and resilience of HealthAdvisor’s systems and services in processing your data over the long term. They also ensure the rapid restoration of the availability of your personal data and access to it in the event of a physical or technical incident.
If HealthAdvisor engages other service providers (for example, cloud storage providers) to process your personal data, they are bound to confidentiality and to compliance with data protection regulations. In addition, access to personal data is granted to them only to the extent necessary.
In general, your personal data are stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. To the extent there are statutory retention obligations, the relevant personal data are stored for the duration of the retention period. After the retention period expires, we assess whether there is still a need to process the data. If there is no longer a necessity, your data will be deleted or anonymized.
If your data are stored due to a contractual relationship with you, those data remain stored for as long as the contract exists and for as long as any applicable statutory limitation periods or contractual retention obligations run.
Your personal data are retained for as long as required by applicable legal and contractual retention periods. After the retention period ends, the personal data are deleted or anonymized.
You have, in general, the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent with respect to your personal data. Please note that we reserve the right to invoke legally prescribed limitations, for example if we are obliged to retain or process certain data, if there is a legitimate overriding interest (to the extent we may rely on it), or if the data are needed to assert claims. Be aware that exercising these rights may conflict with contractual agreements and could have consequences such as early termination of the contract or cost implications. In such cases, we will inform you in advance, unless this is already regulated by the contract. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated, you may also complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
In general, exercising your data protection rights requires you to clearly verify your identity (for example, by providing a copy of your ID where your identity is not otherwise clear or verifiable). To exercise your rights, please contact us at the email address listed in section 1.
